<div class="IPBDescription">can't perform 2 way (iPhone-Win7) sysnc</div>Hi,

My 1Password is installed both on my iPhone and my win7 platform. Still, the two-devices combination partially fails.

While each change on my iPhone is synced successfully via dropbox to my windows application, nothing happens the other way round. Items added/changed/deleted on my pc don't show up on my iPhone.

I understand that this combination, iPhone-PC, is delicate, read various exchanges on this forum and tried them. Still, nothing. My iPhone isn't updated by my window's application.

Any susggestions or instructions?

Hello cher and welcome to the Forums!

I'm sorry you're having a having problems with your syncing from your iPhone to your Windows 7 desktop.

I understand that you've searched the Forum and tried some potential solutions, but nothing has worked for you yet.

Let's start from the beginning, and go from there. You may have tried this already, but bear with me.

Please review the steps listed in this AgileBits 1P for Windows help article: Getting 1Password data from iOS to Windows

Once you have tried those instructions, please report your results. If it doesn't work, we'll take it from there. At least, everyone will know where to begin.

    Cheers!

    Hiya, cher!

While we are waiting to hear back from you, I will just throw this out there as it may prove helpful: Click on the Dropbox icon in the System Tray (lower right corner of the screen), go to Preferences... and uncheck "Enable LAN sync" under General. In some cases, Dropbox has trouble communicating over the local network. Also, the iPhone does not have a firewall, so this may explain why it has no trouble communicating with Dropbox. You may need to allow Dropbox on your PC to connect through the Windows firewall.

I am also curious which version you started with. Did you originally create your 1Password data file on the iPhone and then sync it to the PC?

    Let me know how it turns out! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
