Sync issue
<div class="IPBDescription">Sync iPad with mbp Failure</div>I paid for both the windows/Mac tool and the IPad pro tool. I want to sync them. I found instructions in the tutorial! Yay! They fail!
My favorite part: "select 1password on your computer and find the SYNC section in the sidebar.
Why? Because no one in my home can find a sync section.
Is there a way of actually getting this to work or am I just a fool for buying the software in the first place?
Thanks

I personally would go the Dropbox sync route but by your description sounds like you are wanting to use the wifi sync
Dropbox sync http://help.agile.ws...th_dropbox.html
You should see a sync indicator in the sidebar like my screenshot.

Also : I am really rusty when it comes to the wifi sync..... Dropbox has spoilt me. If it doesn't show for you one of the other will be along and can help more I don't use anything but dropbox since I am a Dropbox beta tester for the team. I am turning in for the evening we will get you up and running no matter what method of syncing you choose. Just hang in there a little more. I suspect khad one of our admins will be doing his late PM early AM stuff (here in the states). He is spot on on the wifi so I have no doubt you will but up and running rather soon. If my spot above didn't help I apologize in advance.Flag 0 -

Hi there,
Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry for the confusion. We offer two ways to sync your 1Password data: over wifi and via Dropbox. We highly recommend the Dropbox route. It was developed for a few reasons: one being so many people had trouble with wifi sync. It is very hard to sync over wifi reliably due to the unpredictability of various configurations, firewalls, etc that people may have on their network. In addition, Dropbox allows you to sync through "the cloud" so that your devices don't have to be on the same wifi network in order to get the latest copy of your 1Password information. You could be on the road on your iPhone on 3G and have your iMac at home connected to the internet and be able to sync, for example.
Tommy's advice is solid: I'd recommend trying the Dropbox sync. You can read more about it here:
http://help.agile.ws/1Password3/cloud_syncing_with_dropbox.html
If that doesn't work for you then we can investigate. I hope that helps.
Thanks.
