Can we make it country localised?

<div class="IPBDescription">feedback</div>Hello

I've just downloaded an evaluation copy to see if it would suit my needs and i must say, so far i'm really impressed.

I would be even more impressed if it could be country localised. i.e i'm in the UK and we don't have 'checking accounts' we have 'current accounts' etc.

I know its only a small thing but it all helps.

Hello Jules and welcome to the Forums!

Your suggestion has come up before, and I know AgileBits' is listening. One of AB's U.K. based staff members, Stu, commented on the issue here: Suggestion: Combined bank account item type

Based on that conversation, and other threads in the Forum, it appears that AB is working hard to introduce custom templates in a future release. However, as Stu mentioned in the linked discussion, AB is having to work out database syncing across the various 1P platforms.

That is all I know, but I have no doubt the AB developer team will figure something out.

I hope you enjoy using 1Password. I'm one of the many members testing out the 3.6 BETA versions, and I can tell you that AB has added a lot of excellent functionality. A Sneak Peak at 1Password 3.6

As you learn 1P, please post any questions you may have. We all were once in your spot, and everyone here is more than willing to help

    Cheers!

P.S. If you do purchase 1P, the future upgrade to version 3.6 is free. Following is AB's upgrade policy from their website: Licenses: How do they work?

    Upgrade Policy

When you purchase AgileBits software your license will never expire and you can use it on the current version of the licensed application indefinitely. While the license itself will never expire, system updates from Apple could cause certain aspects of some software to stop working. For example, the Safari 5 upgrade stopped 1Password 2 from working correctly and required an updated version of 1Password.

Historically, AgileBits has been very generous with upgrades. Your purchase entitles you to free updates until the next major version upgrade. That means if you buy a license for version 2 of a product, you will get all 2.x releases for free, but upgrading to version 3 might require another purchase.

It is definitely on the radar, as well as localization/translation into other languages (Spanish, German, etc). Right now our primary focus is on making 1Password awesome for Lion and Safari.
