Logins Password Box

I am using the current version 3.5.9.

I have been using 1Password from the beginning. Something I noticed, and it never really mattered much so I never reported, is an error in the login password box.

I log onto 1P, choose 'Logins' and select a login to edit. Click on the 'edit' button. Everything is now editable. However the 'Password' box is very narrow and because of this only one or two characters of the password are displayed. I must scroll through this tiny box to read each letter of the password. There is a 'Generate' button just to the right of the password display box, so there is no actually room to display the password.

I have included a snapshot of the area in question.

Thanks for reviewing this. Rob

Sorry about all the posts. Thought I would add an image showing an actual password. The password in the box is MickeyMouse. Thanks again. Rob.

    Hey Rob,

Thanks for posting your issue along with screen shots. A picture is worth a thousand words!

I was able to replicate your view, but only after narrowing the 1Password application window as much as possible.

You mentioned that the 'Password' box is very narrow. Have you tried resizing the 1P application window by dragging the bottom right corner to the right?

Your experience has been noted before, and the workaround is to resize the window. Edit mode : The Generate Button is hiding the Password field

Please try it and let us know if this method works for you. I'm sorry that I do not have a better answer for you at this time.

    Cheers!

Glad it's working for you now. If it makes you feel better, I didn't think of expanding the app window the first time either.

The simple fixes always seem to elude me! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
