What happens when I'm not at one of my computers?

<div class="IPBDescription">1P remote access / 1PasswordAnywhere</div>I've been using 1Password for a while but I have been reluctant to start having it generate random strong passwords for all my different accounts. I often times end up doing work on various computers and sometimes need to login somewhere when I don't have 1Password on me. Not always highly sensitive data but what do I do when I need one of my randomly generated passwords? If I need to get to webmail or a specific forum, etc?

It is not feasible to *always* be on my personal machine when logging into some services. What do others do in this situation? Never login anywhere when remote?

Thanks...

    Hello ckeck,

Thanks for asking this question. Several other members desire to have access to his or her 1P data when away from home. Often, I'm not near my desktop computer when I need access to a saved Login or other 1Password vault.

Personally, I use Dropbox to sync my data to my iPad and iPhone. That way, I always have access to my highly sensitive data.

However, 1Password includes a neat function located in 1P's data file (Agile Keychain) called 1PasswordAnywhere (1PA). Please take a look at AgileBits' guide for details: 1PAnywhere

For those who cannot or do not want to use Dropbox, please note that you can copy your Agile Keychain to a flash drive and access 1PA's functionality from there.

After reviewing the article, please let me know if I sufficiently answered your current question, and/or if you have any questions regarding 1PA.

    You're very welcome!

    I'm beginning to believe that 1PA is AgileBits' best kept secret! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Hope it works well for you.

We are too! It's not intentional, I swear. Thanks for helping to spread the word. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
