Hello Thiago and welcome to the Forums!

By two usernames, are you referring to a website like this one? Navy Federal CU If so, please provide the URL of the website so we can take a look at it.

If not, are you referring to multi-page logins? If this is the case, there is a help article outlining the current procedures for creating logins for websites using this format: How to create multi-page Logins

We look forward to hearing back from you with more details.

    Cheers!

    Welcome to the forums, Thiago!

We recommend saving logins directly within your browser. If you have autosave enabled 1Password will take care of everything for you (Preferences >Logins > Enable Autosave of Logins in browser) . <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

You can also always try saving the login manually like this:

    1. Enter your credentials in the login form on the website (any number of fields will work), but DO NOT submit the form.

    2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.

    3. Set the Action field to Create New Login (or to Replace <login-name>, to update an existing Login item).

    4. Click the Save button.

Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

If you are still having trouble, please take a look at our "Website Login Issues" guide. Note especially that editing the login to change the Submit value from "If Autosubmit is ON" to "Never" works on a lot of sites which modify the form before submitting it or are looking for a literal key press or mouse click. This will give you the chance to actually give them what they are looking for by submitting the form yourself rather than allowing 1Password to do it on your behalf.

I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Thanks!
  • This is the site (have two login fields and one password field)

    https://www2.bancobrasil.com.br/aapf/login.jsp?aapf.IDH=sim&perfil=1

And this website (have only two login fields)

    https://www.santandernet.com.br/default.asp?oA=site

The first website don't works with autosave login and don't work too with clicking on save new login at 1password button. I'm using chrome browser. Because of this i added manually.

I try in 1password app mark two fields like username and the app don't let me do this.

    There is another way?

Thanks for the URLs. It's always better to have actual sites to test.

Regarding Santander, this website has been discussed in the Forums before. While you're waiting for a response with more detail, please review this thread: Banking fields filled in incorrectly.

After having a chance to look at the URLs you provided, someone will respond with additional information.

I was not able to obtain anything useful from the first link. Chrome says the site has an invalid certificate and won't let me proceed. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Probably not a great sign for a banking website. Probably not a good sign for any website.

The second link (Santander) is filled properly by 1Password in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome in my testing. Please be sure you are manually saving the login as I outlined above. Fill in the form and then select "Save Login" from the 1Password menu in your browser before submitting it. You may also need to disable autosubmit as I suggested above. I am unable to test the actual form submission without an account there, but filling the form works very well if you manually save the login.
  • Chrome says it to me too. But in safari the certificate open and you can trust or not. If you trust the site open.

Santander site works here now, but bancobrasil site no work.

Thanks for the update! I'm glad the Santander site is working for you now. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Unfortunately, I poked around a bit more on the other site. I had to "accept" the invalid security certificate (which is not a good idea in case anyone else is reading this thread).

It didn't work in Safari, but then I tried it in Firefox and realized why: I have Java disabled in Safari but hadn't gotten around to disabling it in Firefox yet. The site is using Java exclusively. There is no content on the page apart from a Java applet. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />

1Password is unable to save and restore logins for sites that use Java. As far as we know, no browser password manager anywhere supports Java-based sites because it is a proprietary solution and does not interface with the browser much at all.

Most websites realize the problems with using Java and provide a standard HTML login page as well. If you search around on their site or contact their support, you may find a normal login page that will work correctly. If you cannot find one, the only workaround is to save the username and password in 1Password and copy and paste it whenever you need to log into the site.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but I hope that clarifies the situation a bit.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Cheers,
  • Thx for the support.

I think there is only that login page. Its a bank site, and they always use java <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />..

    thx again.

    Brandt,

I came across this while searching for a solution. I use Navy federal and up to a few days ago it seemed to be working fine, now it will not. I cannot figure what happened or why I cannot check more than two usernames. I tried both with Firefox 5 and Safari. Was a solution to this ever found.

    Thanks

    Hello Frank,

Using OS X 10.7 (Lion) and 1P 3.6.1, I was able to save a login for the Navy Federal site. However, I had to make some edits to the saved Login to make it work. Specifically, I had to change the Checkmarks in my login to the way shown on the attached screen shot.

The "fix" was first discussed in the following 1P for Windows thread (Having Problems with NFCU site), but in that instance DBrown had to create a new Field name. My saved login created the Field name, but the checkmarks were in the wrong place.

Please take a look and let me know if your login already looks like mine. If you are still having problems please reply back with your current OS X, 1Password version. If you haven't already upgraded to the latest stable version of 1P (3.6.1), please do so before testing.

I look forward to hearing your results.

    Cheers!

    Brandt

P.S. I gave up my NFCU account a couple years after getting out of the Canoe Club, so I do not know whether you will need to set the Submit value to Never. Please try it with different Submit settings if you get it working.

    Brandt,

Yes it looks very much the same as your example. It ends up putting the four digit code in the top box and repeats the password in the next two boxes below it.

I took a look at the other thread and set the check marks as suggested: comboLogonNumber=Username and userid=Password and passwrd=none and the son of a gun works again! The only thing is evrytime you log on it wants to create a new logon for the site. I can live with that for now.

    I am using SL 10.6.8 with 1P Version 3.6.1.

    Thanks for your help.

Can you tell me which browser (and version) you are seeing this in? You might also try adding the domain name to the "Avoid Autosave on These Domains" list (Preferences > Logins).

    Please let me know. Thanks!

I am using Firefox 5.0 Mac, Safari Version 5.0.5 (6533.21.1), and Chrome 13.0.782.41 beta. It does the same with all three.

Thanks for the suggestion, it worked fine!

    Frank,

On behalf of Khad, you are very welcome! Thanks for updating the thread with your success.

With all the recent OS and browser updates, unfortunately, there are bound to be a few hiccups along the way.

I appreciate your post bringing the NFCU issue to our attention, and I'm glad you are up and running again.

Hope you have a great weekend!
