Suggestion Template for storing domain info!

Hi,

I'm new to 1Password, and I did a cursory search on this in the forums, but didn't find anything.

Anyway, it would be great if there was a template for entering and storing domain information. You know, registrar, ftp info, expiration dates, etc.

Some sort of alarm to warn of impending expirations would be icing on the cake. Could be through iCal I suppose.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, hoju, and thank you for your feedback. At this time, we think that this exceeds 1Password's scope. If you want to store this information in 1Password, the "Server" account type with the expiry date in the notes field might be your best bet. If you want something built specifically for that purpose, I would recommend an application like DomainBrain or Domainer.

Thanks for the reply, Gita, and for the suggestion. I'll check out the "Server" entry to see if that works.
  • Hi All

I am in Love with this software and iphone app. But there is one thing missing to make it perfect:

Since I am webmaster as many of other users, I need also to store my Domain Names information, Regitrant, expiration dates with notifications, notes, login info, etc. Each domain name should have the hosting information as well.

Please consider this it will kick A. to all other organizers.

Thank you and keep up the great work.
