1password 'forgetting' logins/passwords?

At first I thought I was going mad, but now I know I'm not.

For quite some time, I've gone to a website, and gone to use the autofill feature for my login/password...and nada...nothing. So I load 1password up manually, search for the title, the login, the URL, everything....and nothing is there.

I browse all entries by 'modified' date/time...and its not there.

So I thought "No problem, I must be imagining that I saved it last time...." I enter and save the password again, job done.

This has happened a few times, and again today. A site I *know* I've saved a login for is just simply not there. I search for portions of the URL, something I would have called it / title...login, everything, and there's nothing there for it at all

I'm using 1password3 for Mac, and regularly upgrade through the Beta's.

I have 751 logins stored.

My keychain is synced/stored with/on a dropbox account and I keep 10 backup files locally.

Is there something amiss? Am I really going mad? Could there be some sort of bug? I did try searching the forums, but came up with nothing......(Oh the irony!)

    Hey mbooth,

I'm sorry that you are having this problem. Please try clearing 1Password's cache (Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache) and let me know if that helps.

    Thanks!

    OK Will do, thanks <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Is it not something that has been reported before? It's one of those things that make you think you're going senile! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

This isn't something I have encountered, but stranger things have happened. Be sure to let us know how it turns out. Hopefully this fixes it for you and you will then have a few more years ahead of you before you begin to lose your grip on reality! Nothing to report yet.

Just had another 'moment' with 1password + Chrome(Mac) Extension....tried getting it to save a new form and it did so.

I then opened 1password and searched for the title....nothing.

Manually browsed to the folder I put it in, hey presto...it was there. After that it worked (maybe took a minute or so to update the cache it uses for a search perhaps?)

    My mind is still intact! (Just <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />)

Logins saved from the browser extensions will not appear instantly in 1Password's main application window, but they should definitely appear after a moment.

It sounds like things are working well after clearing 1Password's cache. Please let me know if I have misunderstood or if there is anything else I can do to help keep you mind intact! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_bigsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-D' />

    Cheers,
