Hello,

yesterday I got a new ssd, so i had to reinstall my system.

Since that I do not have a 1password icon in firefox in the right top <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

I googeled a lot and tested the following things

- reinstall 1password 1.0.5.190

- reinstall over 10 times the firefox 1pw addon

- dis- and enable the firefox 1pw addon

- delete firefox profile and create a new one

- delete and reinstall firefox 4.0.1

- update to 1password beta version 1.0.6.196

but there is still no icon <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> Other addons like kaspersky have a icon.

Please help me, without the icon it is uncomfortable to surfing ^^

Thanks and regards

What happens when you press CTRL+\ in Firefox?
  • It works/opens normal, if I press ctrl + \.

I believe you need to customize your Firefox toolbar. Right-click on it, and then select "Customize..."

    Instructions are here: http://help.agilebits.com/1Password_Windows/missing-1P-button.html

    Thanks, Stefan.
  • Big thanks!!!!!!!! This works.

    Now I am happy and can use 1password like before <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    Best regards

Welcome to the forum, P!X3l! I'm glad things are working for you, now.

That question is covered in Where is the 1P button in my browser? in the FAQ section of the user's guide.

I hope you won't mind my taking this opportunity to remind everyone that it's worth taking a few minutes to read the Introduction, Getting Started, and Tutorials sections of the user's guide. They're short, and they'll give you the information you need to get up to speed quickly. As you use 1Password for Windows, we believe you'll find the FAQ section to be a useful resource, too.
  • I miss the wood for the trees, sorry ^^

It would be great, if the 1password extension has a settings button in the firefox add-on manager, because that is the first place to look for extension settings.

Are you planing somethings like this?
