Dropbox Problem
<div class="IPBDescription">Can I start over?</div>I'm not dumb (I don't think) and I've read and re-read the instructions for syncing 1Password3 with dropbox...but I can't get the file to open on the ipad or iphone. The directions say to go to settings> data and settings>dropbox but I can't find either of those...
So I deleted the 1password file from the dropbox and tried to start over but it says the data is already there....but I can't see it???
Is there a way to just wipe everything out and start over? And if my data is still in the dropbox but I can't see it, how do I get rid of it?
Feeling dumb...and dumber!

Hello AuntyTech and welcome to the Forums!
I'm sorry your first two posts are under such circumstances, but let's see if we can get you back up and running with the least amount of problems.
If you moved you 1P data file (called the 1Password.agilekeychain) to Dropbox, likely, there is a backup copy available for restoration on Dropbox's servers. Please see the following Dropbox help guide for details on how to find/restore files on a Mac: How do I undelete files or recover old versions of files?
A second option to look at is restoring a backup copy of your 1Password data. Please look at the Preferences>Backup tab to view the location for any backups that were made. If you cannot restore a Dropbox copy of your data file, perhaps you can restore a backup.
Please take a look at these two options and report your findings.
Don't worry. We'll figure this out.

P.S. You're not stupid! This situation occurs more than you'll ever know. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />Flag 0
