Hello 1Password Reader users,

Just wanted to let you know that 1Password Reader ver 1.8.1.0 is released on Market today.

There are quite a few new features in it you can see them in the What Is New section.

The most important, of course, is a support for the new 1Password keychain ultra-secure data format.

As you know all Agile products are adopting the new keychain format, from now on, 1Password Reader supports this format too.

In addition, user interface was updated according following recommendations from users, an option to see all items were added as many customers asked. The Dropbox sync is made more efficient and sync results easier to read. There are some bug fixes and enhancements too.

There are quite a few other important things added in this release, so please get it from the Market and give it a try.

I am planning to make this release a last major release of 1Password Reader and fully concentrate on the editable version of the application from now on. I know many of you are waiting for the fully functional stand alone version of the application. That should be a great product !

Please share with me your feedback/suggestions and recommendations about 1Password Reader and other Agile products, they are very important for me !

Best regards,

Gene

  • After the update, the sorting order of Logins is messed up. Both the "By Title" and "By Domain" lists appear completely random, although all items appear to be there. Is this a bug, or am I missing some sort setting?

My phone is HTC Desire with android 2.2.

  • Hi Ronald,

Sorry for the trouble here, I've just tested this with my HTC Desire S running 2.3.3 and I can't reproduce the same issue, both 'By Title' and 'By Domain' listings are in the right order.

Could you try quitting 1Password by tapping your menu button and choosing 'Exit' and then relaunching 1Password Reader to see if this resolves the issue for you.

    Thanks,

On my Nexus S 4G, I'm having the exact same issue. Sorting seems random regardless of the setting. Essentially makes the app unusable with the number of passwords I have in it.
  • I would like to add that on my HTC Thunderbolt I am having the same out of order sync issues. I have un-installed and cleared data and nothing has fixed it so far.
  • I am experiencing the same issue on my Motorola Droid X.

I have also tried the various attempts at solving this problem as outlined above.

It is extremely frustrating to search though all my randomly listed logins each time

    I'm attempting to use 1PW.

Understand, I LOVE 1PW but please fix this problem ASAP.

    Thank you,

Hello sirdaniel and all 1Password Reader users,

Sorry to hear about the issue with sorting for logins <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I do see that record sorting sometimes is shown incorrectly for Logins when you select "Show By Domain" option. For all other item types sorting looks OK on all my 10 testing keychains, large and small.

The issue will be addressed in the next application release coming up in the next few days, please stay tuned for the updates.

    Best Regards,

    Gene

  • Gene,

Thanks for the prompt reply, however.....

I checked the Market and there was another update for 1PW Reader available. I downloaded the update

and now all my logins are sorted properly!

I leave it to you to determine what is going on but thanks so much for the prompt fix.

Your program and team remain top drawer in my experience.
