How to deal with 1Password cannot find a login on this page?
<div class="IPBDescription">1Password with HP's Quality Center</div>I use a web based product (HP Quality Centre) which requires a logon at the startup page, but 1Password for windows does not seem to recognize it. If I fill in all the details, hit CTRL+/ to bring up the 1Password prompt window and click the 'Save Login' button I get a pop up dialogue saying;
1Password has encountered a problem
1Password cannot find a login on this page
Now it 'looks' like a regular web based page to me, but I know it's heavily Java script based - is it likely that ALL java based logins are not supported, or is there something else that can cause the 'Cannot find login' message.
I'm not sure passing you the url will help, because the application runs on internal servers but it would take the form http://qc.<your.domain>:<your port>/qcbin/start-a.htm
I've had a hunt through the forums but can't find any good hits on this, but suspect it may be a well known problem.
Finally I'm using 1Password for windows version 1.0.6.2 with MSIE 8.0.7, and Quality Centre 10.00 patch level #22.
Thanks

I would have to see that page in order to tell you what the problem is. If you cannot provide me with the URL, maybe you can save the page and then send it to me?Flag 0
