Firefox 5: Autosave prompts even when Login is already saved

hello,

in firefox 5 it seems 1password is not working properly.

when i log in to a site using 1password, the program asks me if i want to save the login which it just filled in.

that hasnt been in the previous version. seems like a bug to me.

i always have to click "not now" which is a bit annoying.

Could you please provide the URL? I'd love to take a look at it.

In the meantime, you can click "Never For This Website" to add the domain to the "Avoid Autosave on These Domains" list (Preferences > Logins).

Adding the domain to this list has no affect on your existing Login item(s).

    Thanks for your help!
  • The same thing has been happening to me. Specifically on

    https://www.huntington.com/

Hello 1.password.user and welcome to the Forums!

I used the URL you provided, and experienced the repeated requests to save a new login. After rummaging around the websites FAQ, I did find question offered a specific URL to use: https://onlinebanking.huntington.com Since using that URL, I haven't experienced the repeated save login request from 1P.

I was able to save a login for Huntington dot com, but it still took a little time. The original saved login did not save my username and password, so I had to edit the Login and add each.

I attached a screen shot showing the saved login that worked for me. Regardless, I still had trouble getting it to work initially, so thanks for posting the site.

Please let us know if this works for you.

    Cheers!

    Brandt

I copied the Field Names for easy editing:

    ctl00$mainBody$tbUserName

    ctl00$mainBody$tbPassword

    ctl00$mainBody$btSubmit
