trouble establishing syncing through Dropbox

As I gather from the forums, I'm having trouble similar to others syncing 1Password on my Mac and iPhone via Dropbox.



Having read through the forums, here's what I have done so far:

- I have on the Mac changed the master password, reset the database, and moved the data out and back in to the Dropbox folder.

- I have on my phone restarted several time, reset Dropbox sync, and re-entered the master password for the data sync more than once.



I get the error noted on the attached screenshot: "Dropbox sync failed to download remote encryption keys."

I'm sorry you're having a problem synching your Mac and iPhone. It sounds like you've researched and tried potential fixes found on the Forums.



Just to be sure you followed each step in order, please retry setting up the sync using the following guide: [url="http://help.agile.ws/1Password3/cloud_syncing_with_dropbox.html"]Automatic Syncing Using Dropbox[/url]



If you already did follow those steps and/or if you still receive the error message, it sounds like a simple issue of the [i]ws.agile.1Password.settings[/i] file not referencing the correct 1P data file location.



To help us track down the issue more quickly, could you please e-mail your Diagnostics Report? To generate the report from 1Password on your Mac, open 1Password and select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report. Then attach the entire file to an email to support@agilebits.com.



Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
