BMO login issue
Comments
-
I'm running the latest (GM) build of Lion (Build 11A511) and iPassword 3.6.1 in Safari 5.1 and my BMO (Bank of Montreal) log-in does not work.
I tried saving a new login and even triad to manually save login and no luck.
Here's the link: https://www1.bmo.com/MasterCard/MCmain
Can someone try it and see if they have any luck saving a log in?
FWIW, under 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) that site works fine with 1Password.Flag 0 -
You tricked me. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I had already replied to your first post in another thread. Well, since it sounds like you have already re-saved the login, try disabling autosubmit for it.
Try editing the login to change the Submit value from "If Autosubmit is ON" to "Never" works on a lot of sites which modify the form before submitting it or are looking for a literal key press or mouse click. This will give you the chance to actually give them what they are looking for by submitting the form yourself rather than allowing 1Password to do it on your behalf. It sounds like this has a very good chance of working for your Bank of Montreal login, ATC.
I hope that helps. Please let me know.
Thanks!Flag 0 -
heh, I wasn't sure I wanted to reply in the other thread although the issue appears to be related but ended up starting my own thread. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Anyhow, thanks for the suggestion but it didn't work. For some reason, even with the Auto-submit disabled, 1P still refreshes the page. It's really strange. Any way to test this site on your end?Flag 0 -
My apologies. I should have tested before I posted. You are absolutely correct. It appears that the Submit value is somehow ignored for that page. Disabling autosubmit for other individual logins works, but I am seeing the same thing you are with this particular URL. I will pass this along to the developers for resolution in an update. I really wish I had a better answer right now, but in the mean time you may need to copy and paste either from the main 1Password application or by clicking the circled > to the right of the login to reveal the details.
This is definitely an odd autosubmit issue. Thank you for bringing it to our attention!Flag 0
