1P Keyboard Shortcut not working under Safari 5

I use Shift+Alt+\ for the Login. It works with Firefox but doesn't do anything in Safari 5.
What could I be missing?

Is 1Password 3.2.1 loading with Safari 5 for you and it's just the keyboard shortcut(s) that aren't? It's likely that Safari 5 has just "taken over" your preferred shortcut. We can't override Safari's choices.Flag 0 -
Same problem here using the default shortcuts....and the '1P' icon no longer resides next to the address bar.
Even with 1Password 3.2.1 there can easily be conflicts over the toolbar placement of icons. Please try to customize your toolbar and see if you can drag the 1P button back to where you'd like to have it.Flag 0 -

Hi Marty
I have got it working fine now, my mistake, I hadn't realised there had been 2 updates yesterday. I ran the update earlier and have now got 3.2.1 and everything is working as it should. Thanks.Flag 0 -

Very good to hear! Thank you for updating us on your status... we do care.Flag 0 -
Marty, thanks for your support. Well the button is there and I can also log-in via the button so it's only the shortcut that's not working. Is there any shortcut which will work cross all browser (meaning it's not already taken in any of those)? What shortcut is the best to use?Flag 0

Sorry, it's not really easy for us to say which shortcut will work best for you. Some browsers don't like particular shortcuts and that's difficult to determine. For example, I use ctrl+g for Go & Fill Login. This works fine in Safari but doesn't work in Firefox because FF doesn't like shortcuts that use ctrl.Flag 0

Check the Universal access shortcuts and disable the image smoothing.
sys pref>keyboard>keyboard shortcuts>universal access>image smoothing (disable = remove check mark)
Most likely this is turned on when you activated an app that requires UA to work. I think safari 5 revives it because I previously had it turned off myself.
Hope that helpsFlag 0 -

I had a same problem in Safari 5 (Version 5.0 (6533.16)).
I use 1Password Version 3.2.2 (build 30657) (today I updated from 3.2.1 to 3.2.2)
I try to re-install all 1Password browser extension and finished re-install.
I checked universal access keyboard shortcut (thanks thightower) and diable it.
But still I can't logged in using keyboard shortcut.
I use default keyboard shortcut (Cmd+\) for invoke login function.
1P button on preference panel and menu bar is ok, both works fine.
Same keyboard shortcut works fine in Firefox 3.6.3.Flag 0 -
I just tried until I found a keyboard shortcut which works for Safari, Firefox (and hopefully chromium as well - as soon as keyboard shortcuts are supported).
I use Alt + Cmd + Z now. Works.Flag 0 -
Same problem - except it's with the pop up login window that my problem exists. Even selecting the the "Fill & Submit from the key menu" does not work in Safari 5.

Are you referring to the Go & Fill heads-up-display as "the pop up login window"? It sounds like you have the 1Password add-on properly loaded if you have the "key menu". Do you also have the 1P button on the toolbar, and is 1Password in the contextual menu (control-click in the page window)?Flag 0 -

Welcome to the forums, Kensuke!
Your Cmd+\ choice is being used by some other application or being intercepted before 1Password can be activated by it. Please experiment with another keyboard shortcut and see if you can regain keyboard access to the 1Password Fill Logins feature.Flag 0
