Discrepancy between extension and main app Logins - Lion and Safari 5.1

This issue had been reported by another user in another thread (under the Beta section) but I thought I'd add it here too since it's also pertinent to Lion users.

I had initially added the sample data, and for some reason even after deleting all of them, the Bank of America sample still shows up under All Logins (via safari extension) while it's been deleted from the 1Password main app. Other logins that I've deleted also still show up under All Logins. Running 1P 3.6.1 (Safari 5.1 extension 3.6.5 Beta 23).

I've even deleted all my logins and four still appear under All Logins as shown below:

I've tried rebuilding the data file and also cleared the cache in 1Password Preferences to no avail. Any idea why this is happening?

    Hello ATC,

I am unable to reproduce this behavior using Lion GM and 3.6.1.

I consulted with the devs, and a potential cause is a stale database. In order to confirm this suspicion, please uninstall and reinstall the Safari extension.

To remove the 1P extension, in Safari, go to Preferences > Extensions, select the 1Password extension and click "Uninstall". Next, close Safari.

To reinstall the Safari extension, in the 1Password application, go to 1Password > Preferences > Browsers and click the "Install Safari Extension" button located near the bottom of the screen. When prompted, click "Install".

After reinstalling the extension, please check to see if the deleted logins continue to show up.

I look forward to hearing your results.

    Cheers!
