Firefox Compatibility Checking

Hello,

Just want to let you know that after doing all these steps -> http://forum.agile.ws/index.php?/topic/5166-firefox-5-supported-in-latest-version-of-1password/ 1P was still refusing to work (The toolbar was here, but all the menus were unopenable and the shortcut wasn't working either).

So after some poking around I noticed out that 1Password was listed twice in the addons page, once for FF4 and once for FF5.

Assuming that the FF4 one shouldn't be in there I uninstalled it and 1Password now works like expected! Not sure why 1Password installed the extension for FF4, unless it can't sense that I'm using FF5 and just installs both <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Have a great day!

Thanks for the feedback, Alkofox! This is a known issue if you have disabled Compatibility Checking. Firefox 4 will have a similar warning for the 1Password for Firefox 5 extension. This is perfectly normal as 1Password installs two extensions, one specific to Firefox 5, and one for Firefox 4, but the problem arises if Firefox tries to load both. This should only occur if you have disabled compatibility checking. The aforelinked document shows you how to reset this to the proper setting. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
