Alternative URL for mobile/large websites
Hi,
I am using a Mac for my surfing at home and recently got an Android phone for surfing while on the road. I have memberships to numerous sites which have both a regular sized and a mobile version (e.g. www.postbank.de vs mobile.postbank.de). I would like to store both URLs with my logins so that the full-sized version is opened on the Mac and the mobile version is used on the Reader for Android (for the Autologin button). I would be fine with manually entering the mobile URLs in the 1Password app on the Mac.
What do you think?

Hello teacy123 and welcome to 1Password for Android Forum,
Thank you for raising a very interesting question. Every Login secure item has URL and user credentials associated with it.
Currently there is only one URL available for login. If you want to have different URLs for Mobile and Computer access, you should create two logins, you may call them
(ABC Bank and ABC Bank Mobile) and provide corresponding URLs for them.
Later on when you move to the Stand Alone Editable Version of 1Password for Android you will be able to create a mobile URL on the phone and use it only here.In the current version
you create all your logins on your computer and synchronize with your phone.
Please let me know what you think about the solution.
Best regards,
Gene

Hi Gene,
thanks for your quick and detailed response. However, my concern would be that I will then have to update 2 entries each time I change my password on these sites (i.e. these sites use the same credentials for both the mobile and the desktop version). Not a total deal-breaker, but would still prefer an option to associate one set of credentials with 2 URLs.

Hi Tilo,
Thank you for the information, you got a valid point.

as much as possible.
