1Password and Twitter
in Mac
The current version of 1password (3.6.1 (build 31057)) doesn't autofill (the command + \ shortcut), where previous versions did. Even right clicking in the username box and selecting "fill and submit twitter) doesn't do anything. It appears to submit both a blank username and password. It doesn't work in either FF5 or Chrome (12.0.742.112). Granted this isn't a big deal, but it is weird!
thanks!

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. I have about five different Twitter logins that are working well in every supported browser, so I'm certain we can get this working for you as well. Please try saving the login manually like this:
1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.
2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and choose Save Login.
3. Set the Action field to Create New Login (or to Replace <login-name>, to update an existing Login item).
4. Click the Save button.
Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login in Safari, Firefox, and Chrome at:
https://twitter.com/
Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
I hope that helps. Please let me know.

Guys, this is a ROYAL PAIN!
If I understand correctly, you're asking me to manually go and lookup all my usernames and passwords, one at a time, and manually login to each site and tell 1Password to re-remember / update my passwords?
WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING ALL THE DATA IN 1PASSWORD if I have to manually go copy-and-paste everything?!!!!!
I manage about 30 different twitter accounts for corporate reasons, and this is AN INCREDIBLE FAIL on the part of AgileBits.
Surely there's a better way to FIX what you BROKE in your new extension?
It was all working PERFECTLY FINE before the new extension.Flag 0
