Files vom version 2 compatible with version 3?

Hello,

I own an old iMac with Mac OS Tiger and a new Macbok with Snow Leopard and Safari 5.

I want to share my passwords between these two using Dropbox.

On Tiger I only can use version 2 of 1Password.

On Safari 5 I only can use version 3 of 1Password.



Are the files between these compatible? Can they be interchanged via Dropbox?

    Welcome to the forums, jochen. Yes, 1Password 2 and 3 use the same data file format. If you start with version 3 and sync that with version 2, there's no problem. If you start with version 2, you'll want to make sure that you're using the new data file format: run 1Password, click 1Password > Preferences > Keychain, and make sure that the path to the data file ends in 1Password.agilekeychain.
