Support for Firefox 5.0.1

I recently installed Lion build 11A511 and the latest version of Firefox after install was 5.0.1. So I'm not sure if the new FF is completely to blame. I'm running 1Password 3.6.1.

The problem is that while firefox loads the extension, the 1P button and the 1Password context menu both show nothing for any site. It all works in Safari though.

To clarify, I press the 1P button but nothing happens. And the context menu has nothing under it.

    Hey Mike.

Do you happen to have the Nightly Tester Tools extension installed? Or have unsupported addons enabled somehow? I had this exact same problem and it was because Nightly Tester Tools was force-enabling the 1Password for Firefox 4 extension. As a result, both the Firefox 5 and Firefox 4 extensions were enabled simultaneously and were conflicting.

    Please let us know.

Good call. Actually, FF5 was acting weird, the add-ons page said I had none installed. I reinstalled a different add-on and magically they were all listed.

Anyway, yes, the 1P extension for FF4 was there. I removed it and it seems to be working.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the update, Mike! I am glad that worked for you.

Just to be clear, there is no need to remove the Firefox 4 extension. Firefox 5 will simply disable it because it is incompatible, and 1Password will likely reinstall it anyway.
