1Password has become very slow
1Password has become very slow in searches. I get a spinning beach ball for up to 30 seconds b4 it finds my query. I only have 1400 items so this shouldn’t cause problems.
Version 3.6.1 (build 31057) on a Mac Pro sys 10.6.7.
Would rebuilding the database help? I thought I saw that in the menu bar but now I can’t find it.
Cheers,
Kit

Hi Kit,
My search is nice and fast on 1P 3.6.1 and my computer is probably working with less processing power and memory than yours.
I'd try a couple of things here:
Under Help > Troubleshooting choose Clear Cache then choose Rebuild Data File...
Let us know how that works out.

Thanks Ben,
That worked. I knew I had seen the command somewhere but couldn’t remember where. Since my data has been accumulating for several years now I’m not surprised that it had slowed down.
Cheers,
