Lion and saving passwords

So, I try to create a new login, and 1Password dutifully asks if I want to save it. I say yes, and poof! Nothing is saved, nothing is in the clipboard, the password is lost, the login info is lost and I get to go through account recovery on the site 5 minutes after creating the account.

Or, I go to a site and login. My session times out, so I go to login again. But this time, 1password says there are no passwords saved for the site. The All Logins button does nothing.

Frequently, the other buttons in the overlay window do not do anything at all (Identities, Credit Cards, and Generate).

Also, quite frequently, the overlay panel will not unlock, insisting the password is incorrect. I can type my master password into the app 100 times and never misskey it, but the overlay claims I type it wrong about 60% of the time.

I have to say that I find 1Password with Safari 5.1 to be intensely frustrating.

    Thanks for reporting this, covisp!

Though the Safari 5.1 extension is still in beta, what you are describing is certainly not normal behavior. It sounds like there is something going on with your particular machine. I would love to get it resolved.

If you haven't already tried reinstalling the Safari 5.1 extension, please follow the steps in our troubleshooting guide.

I would also recommend clearing 1Password's cache (Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache). If you are still having trouble, please let me know.

    Cheers,
