Useless information stored in 1P
Hello,
from time to time I change my old and insecure passwords on some websites against 1P-generated passwords.
If I do so, 1P always stores information which are completely useless, such thinks like email, email_confirm, new_password, password_confirm, cur_password.
What is the best way to change passwords with 1P if old login informations are already saved in 1P, do it manually?
Best regards, Tom

Hey Tom,
What you are looking at is the complete list of form fields from the page where you saved the Login. 1Password saves all of it in order to reproduce the Login exactly as you saved it. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
We have a tutorial on changing your passwords here:

I hope that helps. Please let me know.

Hi Khad,
thanky for your reply.
I would like to configure the informations stored for authentication. I would say in 99% of all loginforms I only need 2 things - username and password, so I don´t need informations about adress details and all the other stuff once more again. Just my thoughts ...
Thank you for the link to the password changing tutorial!

No problem, Tom! I am happy to help.
The additional form field data doesn't do any harm stored in the Logins and often it can actually be necessary even if you don't realize it. Manually editing Login items can break them. This is not advised unless you know exactly what you are doing and have a specific reason to do so. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
