Auto sign in
Hi,
I'm using the trial version for XP and have 1 query. I can get the password/user name to copy across by hitting control\ when accessing a saved url however, I cant get the form to auto-submit, I have to manually hit sign-in. What am I doing wrong or have I mis-understood the functionality of auto-submit??
Many thanks.
Rob.

Hello Rob and welcome to the Forums!
The following 1Password for Windows help guide provides the details you are looking for: Using a saved Login item
Specifically:
The setting of the Auto-Submit option, in the dialog box that appears when you click the 1P button in your browser’s toolbar, determines whether 1Password submits the form after filling in its fields.
Please review the guide and let us know if you have any additional questions.
Cheers!

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the reply. Would you be willing to post the URLs for which 1P for Windows does not autosubmit and/or is inconsistent?
If so, please do and we will take a look.

This one is inconsistent - https://www.sharevie...ages/Login.aspx
Many thanks for looking into this.

Hey there, robquick!
Thanks for bringing these up.
This one seems to fill properly if you edit "Submit" to be set to "Never" in the Login item, and the following URL seems to be important, since it gives an error otherwise:
https://www.skandia-life.co.uk/beacon/frameset/uk/wrap.htm
In this case, the site is not accepting an Enter input to submit the form even, so I am not sure if we we be able to do anything in this case if a mouse click is required...but we will certainly try <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
In the other case, 1Password is having trouble saving the birthdate information, and therefore it doesn't fill properly: https://www.sharevie...ages/Login.aspx
I am adding these to our to do list. Hopefully we can get these working for you. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
