Autosubmit issue in Safari 5.1 [Resolved]

<div class="IPBDescription">Lion/Safari issues</div>I am having the same problems as many others have reported. I have the most recent 1password update. I have followed all of your trouble shooting steps. They worked in several instances but not others. Entering the info manually and then saving the maunual entries worked on some accounts but not others. I have not checked all of my accounts yet but the national accounts I'm having problems with at this point are Chase Bank, Nordstroms VISA, and Acura. The others are local or regional accounts.

Could you please try the new Beta release (3.6.5.BETA-3) and see if it fixes this problem? You can do this by going to the 1Password > Preferences window, selecting the Update panel, enable the "Include Beta versions" checkbox, and then click Check Now. Once the update is installed, try again and see if it helps.

Also, the new Safari 5.1 extension does not yet honor a Submit value of "Never" for individual logins (which would be the normal course of action to resolve some Login problems), but you can disable autosubmit globally in 1Password's preferences until we can get that working.

Once we get the Submit value working in the new Safari 5.1 extension, you can keep autosubmit enabled globally but just disable it for that one Login item.

Of course, we are working to improve autosubmit so that no workaround is needed. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';-)' />

Please let me know how it turns out.

    Thanks!

    You are quite welcome, Gianna! <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

    Thanks for letting us know.

ccstephe, this should be fixed in the latest update. Please make sure you are using 1Password 3.6.5 and Safari extension 3.6.5.BETA-29. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

To manually update the Safari extension, you will need to temporarily disable automatic updates, otherwise, if you sit tight it will eventually update automatically.

We are releasing multiple updates per day now, so it can be fun for all of us trying to keep up.

Please let me know how it goes for you with the latest update.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the update, ccstephe! I'm glad everything is working well.

Our day-and-night shifts are paying off. More caffeine and sugar for the developers should keep the pace. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

We are looking into restoring access to folders and tags in the new Safari extension.
