Is Safari 5.1 Lion plug-in still beta?

<div class="IPBDescription">Install extension "1Password ß"?</div>I've got 1Password 3.6.5 installed. "Check for updates" confirms that it's up-to-date. Then I quit 1Password. Then I opened Safari Preferences and deleted the 1Password extension and then quit Safari. Then I re-launched 1Password and went to Preferences and clicked on "Install Safari Extension" under the Browsers tab. A window appears and asks if I'm sure I want to do that. In that window the name of the extension is listed as "1Password ß", not "1Password" as it appears on this page "Safari 5.1 extension intro". If I allow it to be installed it is listed in the Safari Extensions window with the name "1Password ß 3.6.5BETA-28" which also does not correspond with the previously linked page. Am I somehow installing an old version of the plug-in, or are the graphics on that linked page not accurate?

    Welcome to the forums, dreimiller!

There are so many changes happening so quickly lately it can be hard even for us to keep up with them. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

The Safari 5.1 extension is still in beta. You can find information about the latest release in the release notes linked from this thread.

As of this writing the latest version of the Safari extension is 3.6.5.BETA-30 and 1Password.app is at 3.6.5.

From my own machine this very second:

It will automatically update on its own as new updates are released. (We are sometimes pushing out multiple updates in a day at this point.) I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Cheers,

Thanks for the reply Khad. That matches what I've got, and my extension did automatically update itself from v28 to v30.
