Safari 5.1: Unable to disable Autosubmit [FIXED]
Running 3.6.5 (build 31075).
Passwords are auto submitting, even when auto-submit is set FALSE.
I have a couple of security where an element changes monthly, so I use 1P, but a PIN is required. In Lion, 1P won't pause to allow me to enter the PIN and manually submit.
Kind regards
Alastair

Further, and I am sure related...
When I enter manually and add the PIN code, 1P keeps prompting me to save the credentials. It already has the ones I want to use.
Grrr. Remaining patient in the first few days of major upgrade, but it just demonstrates how vital 1P is to normal life <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0 -

Thanks for the kind words, Alastair!

This should be fixed in version 3.6.5.BETA-30 of the Safari extension.

There is a known issue when Safari's own AutoFill is enabled which causes this. If you disable Safari's AutoFill as described in the User Guide, do you still have the problem?
Please let me know.

same issue as stated by amjbrown.
running Version 3.6.5 (build 31075) and just updated the Safari Extension to 3.6.5.BETA-30... but the problem persists: passwords are auto submitting, even when auto-submit is set FALSE. (Safari's AutoFill is disabled)
kind regards

Apologies for a second post, but there have been numerous releases since I last reported this. None have fixed my issue.
I use a website, which I can share by direct mail, but not in this forum.
It requires UID, PWD and secure token. The UID is fixed, PWD changes once a month, token every 60 seconds.
I like to update 1P with the new password every month, then use 1P to autofill - but not submit - the UID and PWD, I then add the token and click Go.
I cannot get 1P not to auto submit. I have tried creating a fresh entry in 1P and turning auto submit off completely, but to no avail.
If someone could come back to me, I will share the website.
Kind regards

Hello amjb,
I hope you don't mind, but I merged your new topic into the original thread you first mentioned your issue.
First, please ensure that you've tested the site using our latest version of 1Password and the 1P Safari extension.
Second, please refer to Khad's post above, and review his comments regarding Safari's AutoFill settings.
Third, if you are still having issues, please edit your saved login and set the Submit value to "Never".
Fourth, please reply and let us know your results.
If none of these steps work for you, please send us an e-mail with the URL to support@agilebits.com and include a link to this thread so that we may more quickly connect the dots.
If you do send us an e-mail, please add that fact to your reply here.
Cheers!

Apologies, I lost this thread when it was merged, and somehow was unable to find it by searching my (few) posts. User failure. I therefore elaborated here...
http://forum.agilebits.com/index.php?/topic/7651-auto-submit-never-still-being-ignored/
and have now sent bwoodruff a PM with the site details as per that thread.
Looking forward to getting to the bottom of it. Thanks!Flag 0 -
