3.6.5 beta 30 Go & Fill not working
I am running Safari 5.1 with 1P 3.6.5 beta 30 on OS 10.6.8. The Go & Fill shortcut Opt-Cmd-\ is not working correctly. It fails to respond on a blank page or a Top Sites page. On a page with content but no login it goes to Logins for this Site (and says No logins saved) whereas according to the FAQ it should go to All Logins. On a page with a login saved then it works fine and goes to Logins for this Site.

I'm using Lion and Safari 5.1 with the latest plugin and I can't get Go & Fill to work anywhere. The Command-\ shortcut just sends me to the previous page every time I try it. Even with the popover when I click a few times to select the login I want and click the right arrow button nothing happens. I have to manually type in the passwords and usernames. Sigh.Flag 0

I think there may be 3 different issues here, folks. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

It sounds like you might not have the toolbar button in the toolbar. At the moment, you will need to have the toolbar button visible in order for the extension to function properly. We are working on a solution to the issues when it is not visible.

Command-\ will fill and submit a Login. Go & Fill is available via Option-Command-\ but it sounds like you were having some trouble with autosubmit in a previous version. This should be fixed in the latest update. Please make sure you are using 1Password 3.6.5 and Safari extension 3.6.5.BETA-29. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

To manually update the Safari extension, you will need to temporarily disable automatic updates, otherwise, if you sit tight it will eventually update automatically.

We are releasing multiple updates per day now, so it can be fun for all of us trying to keep up.

I'm glad things are working well for you. It sounds like you had the opposite problem, though. We made autosubmit a bit less aggressive in the latest update, so there are some sites that will fill but not submit in the new version while sites which were failing when auto submitted are now more stable. We are working to improve this across the board. If you have any specific URLs where form filling is not working, I would love to know about them. Likewise, if a site is being filled properly but just not auto submitting (a separate issue), I would love to know about that as well.
Thanks for your feedback, please let me know what else I can help with.

Thanks for the reply Khad - just to confirm that in my case the 1P toolbar button _IS_ visible and active (i.e. I can click on it and get the 1P menu). Go & Fill behaviour is still as I noted. I guess I'll have to just wait for new Betas to see if that cures it.

I think this might be an issue in Snow Leopard. I will try to verify this. Thank you so much for your patience.Flag 0
