Safari drop down still not working

I followed all of the instructions for Safari Browser and extensions given on the 1password site. After upgrading to password 3.6.5 and upgrading to Safari 5.1, there is no drop down on Safari for auto fill for ID or for password. Now I have to open vault and do a copy and paste of ID and password onto the website. Not what I paid for. This has been a big drag and I wish I never did the upgrade. I Also get a a bar across the top page continually asking me to add website to 1 password when it has already been added. This bar across the page covers up important information on the website and is a big hassle and interference.

It sounds like you have the extension installed. Is the 1P toolbar button in Safari's toolbar?

Ctrl-click the address bar and select "Customize Toolbar" from the contextual menu. Then drag the 1P toolbar button between the Back and Forward arrows and the address bar.

Now you can click the 1P toolbar button to access all the functionality of the new extension. Please see the User Guide for an introduction to the new extension (including some helpful keyboard shortcuts).

If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.

I also don't get the Go&Fill drop down menu and also don't have anything related to 1Password in the edit menu. Is it because this feature don't work for now in OSX Lion with Safari 5.1, meaning that I'll have to wait for the final release of the actual beta extension? Please note that I have the extension install and running.

    Thanks for your support

The new extension is brand new code. Due to changes that Apple made we are not able to use the code we had been using for the past five years. Go & Fill is still available via the Option-Command-\ keyboard shortcut and the "All Logins" tab of the new extension. We are not abel to add anything to the Edit menu any more.

For more information, please take a look at the "New Safari Extension" information in the top right of the FAQ page of the User Guide.

    Thanks!
