illegal character in master password? (1PasswordAnywhere)

<div class="IPBDescription">Can't unlock 1PasswordAnywhere if certain characters used in passw</div>Hi - hope you can help.

My master password works great for the main 1Password app, but it won't unlock 1PassWordAnywhere.

I've tried a few things and discovered where the problem lies. My master password used to contain a 'ß' character (alt + s).

It seems using this character in your password stops you from being able to unlock 1PasswordAnywhere.

I've tried typing as well as copy and pasting the password.

Now I've changed my master password to something completely different that doesn't include a Eszett (ß) works fine.

Any idea why this is? Can it be fixed?

Thanks

Yes, this is a bug. I recently found the cause and am working on a solution. We're pretty busy with the new Safari 5.1 release at the moment but I do believe this is fixable.

    Thank you for the report!
