Google login + other no longer work
<div class="IPBDescription">1P 3.6 with Safari 5.1 Usernames no filling</div>Hi All,
I'm having problems with the combo of 1P 3.6 and Safari 5.1. After the upgrades, many logins no longer work because the "username" field isn't populating. The most annoying of these is my Google login. Neither Reader nor Gmail currently work.
Anyone else having this problem?
Cheers.

The fill algorithm was changed considerably in Safari 5.1. The weakest part of the algorithm atm is when the page does not match the Login (usually the Login is quite old and the page was updated) and we need to "guess" where the entries should be filled.
We're working on improving this but in the meantime, saving a new Login directly from within Safari will most often solve this issue.
I hope that helps. Please let us know.Flag 0 -

Many thanks for the fast reply - its why I love you and your products. I ended up deleting the login and recreating it, which solved the problem. I mostly wanted to make sure you knew there was an issue, especially given that Google is a big one to have "issues" with. Keep on going, love your software.Flag 0 -
