Feature Request: Edit Login title during manual sve

When I visit a new site with Safari 5.1 and try to save the login with 1P. The Save Login button isn't giving me any response. I click it but I don't get the dialog box asking me what I want to name the site or if I want to create a new login or replace an old one. Basically, nothing happens. I'm running 1P 3.6.5 and Safari 5.1.

Sorry for the confusion, Brian. We are working to implement some of the features of the previous extension when you save a Login, but right now, the Login is simply saved with the domain name as its title and not in any folder. Check your Logins. There are probably quite a few duplicates if you were clicking the "Save Login" button a number of times thinking that nothing was happening. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_worried.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':S' />

We are working to improve this in a future update! Thanks for letting us know you are looking forward to that.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Cheers,

Thanks. I appreciate the reply. I understand this is a partially functional beta. I guess Safari 5.1 caught you guys somewhat by surprise? I'm actually using Firefox a lot right now because 1P just isn't working right with Safari. Sometimes the main password to login to 1P doesn't work either.

Oh, BTW, I don't use folders. But, I do have multiple logins for certain sites. So, what I was referring to was the ability to title the login as different things for the same domain. For example, I have two accounts with the telephone company. So, I need to be able to have a personal login and a business login- two different passwords and userids for the same site. This worked perfectly before.

I love 1P and can't live without it. So, it's back to Firefox until these bugs are worked out.

Thanks for following up, Brian. We are cranking out updates very frequently lately. The new Safari 5.1 extension still does not provide the ability to edit a Login title during a manual save, but autosave allows for this (as it has since Safari 5.1 was released).

Perhaps that helps a bit. Regardless, we are still working on it, and whenever you are ready to give Safari 5.1 a shot again, 1Password will be ready for you. It is only getting better every day. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />
