Staples.com login trouble
I'm using 1Password 3.6.5 on Lion.
At the staples.com website autofill fills in the user name and password - but the password doesn't work.
If I manually copy/paste the password out of 1Password it works - i.e. 1Password has the correct password stored.
After autofilling the password field has the correct number of bullet characters in it - so it seems something approximately correct was filled in.
Anyone else see this problem?

Hello engber and welcome to the Forums!
Running Lion, 1P 3.7.0.BETA-3 and 1P's Safari extension 3.7.b2, I was able to to save and successfully submit a saved login on the Staples site.
Would you please upgrade to our latest Beta version of the 1Password application and Safari extension and try again?
Please let us know your results.
Cheers!

I updated, verified in Safari's Prefs that 3.7.b2 was installed.
The problem persists.
Hi Engber,
I”m not able to reproduce the issue with Staples. Can you turn off the auto-submit setting for staples and see if 1Password will fill it in without submitting. Press the “Login” button manually to see if it works better. To disable the Auto-submit feature for a particular web site:

Open the main 1Password application, go to the Logins section and select the Login item for the site.
Press the edit button and change its Submit option to "Never".
Press the save button to save it.
Let me know how it turns out.Flag 0 -

I already had auto-submit off. That's how I normally use 1Password.

Not to be a stickler, but you only mentioned that you verified that 3.7.b2 was installed.
Are you also running 1Password's desktop application version 3.7.0.BETA-3?
Just want to be sure we are on the same setup.
Thanks!

Hey engber,
I am not able to reproduce any problem in the latest versions of 1Password (3.7.1.BETA-2) and the Safari extension (3.7.b5). We have made some improvements which may help on the Staples website.
If you are still having trouble with 1Password 3.7.1.BETA-2 and version 3.7.b5 of the Safari extension, please try saving a new Login as described in the troubleshooting guide and let me know if that helps.
Cheers,Flag 0 -

LMAO, Thanks for the laugh! We should have our own button for 1Password too. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />Flag 0
