1Password keeps prompting to autosave

Hi,

I've been a long time user of 1Password on my Mac and its has worked perfectly but i'm on the verge of ditching it and running!

Since upgrading to Lion 1password is asking to save logins again and again if I happen to type something in manually... won't update logins if I login with a new password... no option to select 'never save login' and sometimes doesn't even ask me if I want to save a login when logging in for the first time.

The safari option to autofill passwords is turned off.

Please help!

Welcome to the forums, GreenAmber! I'm sorry I wasn't able to reply sooner. We have been much busier than usual since Lion was released. We normally reply within 24 hours (and often within 12).

Could you please try the new Beta release (3.7.1.BETA-2) and see if it fixes the problems? You can do this by going to the 1Password > Preferences window, selecting the Update panel, enable the "Include Beta versions" checkbox, and then click Check Now. Once the update is installed, try again and see if it helps.

"Never prompt for this site" is not yet implemented, but we hope to implement it soon. If you are still having trouble with autosave, can you provide some steps I can take in order to reproduce the problem on my machine? A specific URL would be helpful. I am not able to reproduce this with Safari's AutoFill disabled.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

I've just updated to Version 3.7.0 (build 31083) and have the new layout of the safari add-in. All seems to work fine now... perhaps I was on an outdated version <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    It's now a great product again <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    Hi GreenAmber,

Thanks for the update, I’m glad you’re liking it now. We still have more improvements on the way. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I'm also frustrated by 1Password (about different issues) and voiced my frustrations in an email, to which I received an automated response two weeks ago and never heard from a human.

Tonight I registered for the forum and posted my frustrations, which were different from yours, on an existing new thread entitled something like "1Password is Ruined!!!" The entire thread was pulled after I posted. When I looked back at "my posts" I saw the thread had been re-titled "Feedback about 1Password." However it is nowhere to be found.

So much for free speech, or for 1Password wanting honest responses from their customers. NOWHERE in the thread did I or anyone else make any personal attacks, use obscenities, or break any forum rules.

I guess this post will disappear too. I guess Agile software wants me to disappear since they ignored my 2 emails and my post got pulled immediately.

I guess they will see both my money and my recommendations to the mac community for their software disappear as well.

    Bye Bye.

I think you are mistaken about your earlier post being deleted.

I agree there is a lot to be unhappy about with the new extension, but the thread with your other post is still around -- Feedback on the new Safari extension
