Feedback on the new Safari extension

After installing Lion, I noted a great change in 1Password. I am currently running Version 3.7.0.BETA-3 (build 31081), have consistently upgraded as released, and have installed the Safari extension. I am running SafariVersion 5.1 (7534.48.3), the latest version.

I have a great problem with your new interface. 1P is displayed in the Toolbar correctly, but when opened the visual concept that I see is very awkward to say the least. On the left is the button 'Login for this site' and active. However, when I use 1Password I am very often not on the site that I wish to login to. I do not wish to be required to navigate to the site that I wish to login to before Login.

I am required therefore to select the button 'All Logins' then scroll to the site that I wish to login to. I really do prefer the drop down menu of the old version. As well it would seem more convenient to have this login the live one when entering 1P.

When I attempt to login to a site, as with this one, I navigated to the Agile password area, selected it and 'nothing'. I was required to first press the button to 'login' on your site then to use 1P to do the auto fill of my information.

I am also missing the 1P login in in the Safari menu bar.

The four buttons on the bottom of the extension are not complete as when I am in the application, there are 6 actual storage files, Logins, Accounts, Identities, Secure Notes, Software, and Wallets, all of which I use to store information. Again it is inconvenient to be required to go to the application itself for the information.

Overall, as a 1Password user from the very beginning, and recommend this application whenever I can, I am very dissatisfied with this version.

I am wondering, as I have searched this site, if there are options or setups that I am not seeing that would solve these problems.

UPDATE: I just tried a login to your site from 1P and not only did it navigate to your login site by itself but did the autofill and login all by itself. Is there an issue with the cache , which I have NOT cleared having to be resorted with the new update?

Please consider using the Option-Command-\ keyboard shortcut that has always been available in the 1Password browser extensions. This will focus the "All Logins" tab and allow you to (optionally begin typing the name of the site and then) select the Login you wish to Go to and then Fill. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

You can also press the Tab key on your keyboard to toggle between the two sections or simply click with your mouse.

The drop down menu is no longer an option in Safari 5.1 due to some changes Apple made in the underlying technology, but we are working on a new interface that I think you will like. It takes the best of the old and new interfaces and combines them into one interface of pure awesome. It is not yet available but will be soon. If you are not seeing the 1P toolbar button, try right-clicking on the address bar, selecting "Customize Toolbar…", and then drag the 1P button to your toolbar. If the extension is installed — which it sounds like it is — this should work. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

Is there a word missing in the first sentence there? It sounds like everything is working properly. Please provide some more details. I would be glad to get any problem you are having resolved.

    Thanks!
