"Logins" vs "All Logins"

Okay, so I just downloaded the latest version of 1Password 3.

The dialog box is smaller, and that's good. But it's behavior is odd. If the top tab is selected, and I type in words for a website I know is in 1Password, nothing shows. I have to hit tab and go down to the next tool before the search brings up any results. That is odd to say the least. Here's a search looking for Wells Fargo...

Sorry for the confusion here, leicaman. Searching the Logins section (the top section) will only search the Logins for the current site. For some folks (and certain sites like Google) there can be a large number of Logins just for one site. In order to search all your Logins, you need to either click the second section (All Logins), press Tab to switch to it, or simply press Option-Command-\ to open the extension to the All Logins section in the first place. Option-Command-\ has always been the default keyboard shortcut for this in previous versions of 1Password as well. We have tried to remain consistent here. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

I hope that helps. Please let me know.

Consistency? What? I can't believe you want consistency. How are we to be surprised and delighted by the magicalness if you don't change things up and make us search for them? <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

    I'll give it a whack.

How about letting us set the order in which those tabs on the left go? Actually, no, leave it as it is. I can see why that's a good thing.

    Dag nabbit consistency trolls. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />

    Hi Leciaman,

Thanks for writing back. I’m glad that Khad was able to help you out with the …consistency issues. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
