Issues with certain websites with new extension

I noticed that since updating to the new extension (the one for Safari 5.1) I am unable to fill username and password for certain websites. The websites in question are those that show a separate window to log in (Examples: screencastsonline and ADP iPay) I am currently running 10.6.8, with 1password version 3.7.0 and extension version 3.7.b8. Is this a bug that showed up with the changes to Safari 5.1 and being worked out (hope it is). Thanks for your help and a great application on all platforms!!!
Hi skattank,

We’re constantly working on improving the extension for Safari 5.1. I have an HSBC site that has two separate login pages and it submits correctly for me on both pages. So, it isn’t a general issue.

I’m trying to locate the page for Screencastonline.net, is this the login page you’re using?

Or are you having issues with the HTTP Auth-based sites like the following:

I see the following sites you linked are using those prompts:
https://ipay.adp.com/iPay/login.jsf

    http://www.screencastsonline.com/Extra_Premium/NewMembersSite/info/overview.html
If it is the HTTP auth-based sites, unfortunately, we do not support it at the moment due to the limitation in the extension APIs for Safari 5.1. We are looking into a workaround for this. In the meantime, you can copy and paste between 1Password and Safari, you can also ask Safari to remember the passwords for you by storing it into your OS X keychain.

    Mike,

Thanks for the quick response. Yes I was referring to the HTTP Auth-based sites. This was not an issue in previous versions and wanted to know if it was a bug on the new extension or due to the changes in Safari 5.1 (which you have confirmed it is).

I have been copy/pasting but obviously it is a hassle, compared to just pressing command + \. The use of keychain is not an option for me, since that is what I got 1Password for.

Just hope that you are able to find a workaround for this soon.

Once again thank for the great application and excellent customer service.
