1Password Data Encrypted On Backups?
<div class="IPBDescription">LION: TIME MACHINE-TIME CAPSULE</div>Just installed Lion, have FileVault2 turned on (entire drive is now encrypted), and Time Machine backups to Time Capsule...Rookie question:
If I'm logged in and accessing 1PW or 1PW is unlocked, is my 1PW data unencrypted on my Time Machine backups on Time Capsule which cannot be encrypted?
Thanks

1Password data is always encrypted when stored on disk. The decryption is done in memory when the application is running.
Please note that in the current data format, certain fields are not encrypted (title and url):

Hi MaeBe,
On behalf of Roustem, you’re welcome. I’m glad he was able to reassure you of the important security fact about the encryption and that you think we’re heading in the right direction with the latest improvements we’re making to the 1Password app.
