Preferred logins (Suggested Feature)

<div class="IPBDescription">For when ⌘ \ just doesn't cut it...</div>I have a number of sites that have several logins associated with them, but I generally use only one of them (the others are there for access as needed). Wouldn't it be great if one could designate a specific login as "preferred"? When using the ⌘ \ keystroke or ⌘ ⌥ \ keystroke, the preferred keystroke would be autofilled as if it were the only stored password. Alternatively, 1Password could keep track of how often a password item is accessed and, if it is accessed most often, it is chosen as the preferred login.

Of course, having a way to turn on/off this kind of feature would be important, since not everyone would appreciate autofill like this. But it would save a fair bit of time (as far as password filling is concerned) every time someone goes to log in somewhere if they only use one login and the other logins are for less-than-frequent use.

Thanks,

Brent

    Hi Brent,

Have you consider using the 1Click bookmarks in Safari? You can use it as a bookmark to log in with a specific login and when you need a different one, you can use the ‘All Logins’ (Command + Option + \) to search for a specific account item and then have 1Password open it, fill it in and submit it for you.

We’re looking into a possibility in letting you designate a default Login for a specific site, it is a great idea. Thanks for bringing this up. I am not sure when or if we’ll be able to implement this feature. I hope the tips I gave will help in the meantime.
