Problems with archive while upgrading

<div class="IPBDescription">Normal upgrade process to 3.7.1 fails after archive is downloaded</div>I'm getting this error:



"An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again." (Try Again)



downloads the archive again...same error.

    Hi b,



    I have done the last 10 upgrades manually this way and they work. Just the problem never goes away. It's a bit tedious when there are so many frequent updates.



    Same result with latest 3.8.3 update from 3.8.2

    That's very strange, given it's happening so often. I presume you can extract zip archives normally? Also, are you running as an admin or standard user?
