tweaking AvoidPreciseURLMatching on windows?

There is an existing thread explaining how to *mostly* override the default behaviour of lumping all google.com URLs into the same bucket when deciding which saved passwords to prompt with.

My question is: this AvoidPreciseURLMatching.js doesn't appear in the windows version at all (as far as I can see)

How can I modify the default precise URL matching behaviour on windows? Is this supported at all? if not, Will it be supported?

...and while we never say "never," I've heard of no plans to work on such a feature, at this time.
