Uses Old Username and Password

I just upgraded to the latest 1 Password, and now that I changed a application password, 1Password insists on using the OLD information even though I can find it nowhere in the 1Password app. I have updated everything, installed the new Safari extension, emptied the trash, logged out and back in, but no luck. Ideas?

I am sorry that you are having this problem, Bob. Let's get this resolved for you.

    From the User Guide:

It is possible that the Safari extension database (including a recently changed master password) is out of sync with the data in the main application. To resolve this try using Help > Troubleshooting > Restart Agent from the 1Password menubar. If that doesn’t work, you may need to reinstall 1Password’s Safari Extension:

    Remove the 1Password extension

Open Safari

Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions

Select the 1Password extension

Click “Uninstall”

Close Safari (using Command-Option-Q on Lion)
Reinstall the Safari extension

Open 1Password

Go to the 1Password menu > Preferences > Browsers

Click the “Install Safari Extension” button

When prompted, click “Install”
I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Thanks!
