How do I get the 1password icon onto the safari tool bar. Then how can I add a 1password web site link to the tool bar. New mac user. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Kent623,



    First of all, welcome to the forums, I'm sorry your first post isn't under better circumstances. 1Password's icon should be present in your browser's toolbar if you've opened 1Password and gone through the setup instructions to install the browser extensions.



    To make sure everything is is installed correctly please launch 1Password and then go to 1Password > Check for Updates to make sure you're using the latest version of 1Password which fully supports Safari 5. Once you've done this please relaunch Safari and you should see the '1P' icon in the toolbar.



    If this doesn't help, there are several things to check when the Safari extension will not load. Please see this thread for a detailed walk through of each issue:

    I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a 1Password website link, but we do have a feature called a '1Click Bookmark' which means that you can drag a login from 1Password to the bookmarks toolbar within Safari and then click on this to have your details automatically filled and submitted for that particular site.
