∞labs Afloat Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">∞labs Afloat Problem issue problem incompatibility</div>I have the latest Safari 5.1 and the latest 1Password 3.7.2 with the 3.7.b10 extension

i noticed an issue in submitting credentials to forms by 1Password if i have one or more Safari windows pinned afloat using the wonderful Afloat extension from ∞labs ( http://infinite-labs.net/afloat ).

What happens is that if the floated Safari window has input type fields, the credentials goes wrongly to to those fields on the floated Safari window even if the active/focused window is obviously the one tha i actually want to submit to.

This never happend to me in Safari 5.0.5 with less recent versions of 1password.

I hope 1Password developers read this post and can do something about this in the next releases

Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for pointing that out. I haven't had a chance to test this yet, but clearly having login credentials go to the wrong place is not something that should be happening.

I can't promise when a fix will occur, but this is something we need to look at.

    Again, thanks for reporting this.

    Cheers,

I see that Afloat makes use of SIMBL as a plug-in mechanism. We've found many problems, typically with how the 1Password extension is displayed, when some SIMBL-based plug-ins are installed. I don't think that this is the same problem, but I just wanted to note it as a possibility.

    Cheers,
