Welcome to the forums! You have one of those "unpronounceable" names so I won't even try. <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

The web page you are having trouble with uses multiple forms — one for each segment of the credentials. The 1Password extension has difficulties with sites like that, as we don't have any way to know that the other form(s) might have anything to do with the form with a password field in it. Quite often forms on web pages with only a text field are used for Search and other purposes and we don't want to be filling your credentials into them.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you.
  • What is especially troubling about this site (beside that the username won't fill in), is that they don't support copy and paste for the username.

So I can bring up 1Password, find the credentials, but I can't keep the 1Password window open while I copy the username into the field. Since copy and paste don't work, I have to write down the stupid long and hard to memorize username <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />

I appreciate that you don't want to spill username information into unintended forms, there has to be a way to deal with these kinds of sites...

    Thanks!

Hm. I didn't have any trouble pasting anything into the form. I just pressed Command-V to paste both username and password into the respective fields. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you meant.

We'll keep working to improve on this site and others.

Thanks again for pointing this particular URL out to us. It give us something to test against.

    Hey Winky,

Regarding you last message, I retested the TSCI site using Lion, 1P 3.7.5.BETA-3 and Safari extension 3.7.b13, and I was able to save and AutoFill & AutoSubmit my username and password.

Since I do not have valid credentials, I am not able to test further, but your last post indicated that you could not AutoFill or Copy/Paste into the webpage entry fields.

Have you updated to our latest releases? If so, are you having the same issues? If not, would you please install and try.

I'd love to hear if this site continues to be a problem for you.

    Cheers!
