Lion options

Hi, I noticed that with lion 1password no longer has the drop down menu from the 1P icon. Instead it has some symbols that mean the same things except 'save login' option is gone. What has happened to it? I used all the time with snow leopard.

  • Hello asukulu and welcome to the Forums!

Due to new limitations in the way extensions are allowed to integrate with Safari 5.1, we had to change the look and feel of the Safari extension (i.e., the 1P icon functionality).

For more details regarding the new extension, please review our FAQ found here: 1P3 FAQ

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Cheers!

    Hello asukulu,

The "Save Login" button was removed in a prior beta update, but the functionality is available in our current extension version, 3.7.b10.

As Gilles9 mentioned, you can manually save a login by clicking on the "+" button in the top, right of the UI.

Before clicking on the "+" symbol, first, enter the username and password in the appropriate fields on the website, but do not Submit. Once each relevant field has a value, click on the "+" symbol and you should see the Login data fields as represented in this screen shot:

At this point, if you can select "Save" if you wish to keep the Login.

Please reply with any questions or comments.

    Cheers!
