Date Modified shows Incorrect Day of Week

Junior Member
edited August 2011 in Mac
Hi,

I have been editing my password files, and just noticed everything I changed this evening says "Last Modified Friday, Aug. 6, 2011 8:32 PM" (the times are correct)

Within the password files, it says under Password History: Friday, Aug. 6th, 2011 Saturday 8:32 PM"

My computer shows the correct day (Saturday).

EDIT: Ok, maybe I'm missing something. Every file says Friday in front of it, both Last Modified and Created (Last Modified Friday and Created Friday)

I have attached a screenshot. FWIW, March 27th, 2008 was a Thursday.

OSX Lion, 1Password 3.7.2

Welcome to the forums, kjk. It sounds like you have set an incorrect custom date in System Preferences (which is where 1Password grabs this information from).

I was able to duplicate this by "hard-coding" the word "Friday" into some custom date settings rather than using the "Day of week" variable.

The easiest way to fix this is to either replace those hard-coded "Friday" values with the variable (drag and drop it from below) or simply click the "Region" drop-down menu and select your country to reset the date formats to the defaults.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Cheers,

    Thanks, Khad!

    Wow, no idea when I may have changed that setting- OS X 10.3 maybe? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Ha! I'm glad that was the fix. It took me a bit to figure out what could have possibly been going on, but once I thought of that I was pretty sure it was the only possible solution. If that wasn't it, I didn't have any other guesses. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
