Open and unlock 1Password application

edited August 2011 in Mac
Hi, I downloaded 1password trial version for mac because my partner uses it and says its great. He uses the same OSX as me - snow leopard 10.6.8. However it does not seem to be working correctly. When I log in to my website the bar comes down from the toolbar and prompts me to unlock 1password. When I put in the password I get the following message 'java not available, update extension data - please see attached screen capture . I have no idea what this means. I wish to purchase but only if It actually works first. My partners doesnt ask for the password in the drop down bar it just asks to save login??

The file uploader doesnt work so please see link -

This has just started happening to me also. Not sure what it means by unlock 1password to update extension data?? Everything is completely up to date. When I go to safari extensions I just go to some webpage and have no idea what to do from there? I really think this is a fault with the new 1password and nothing to do with extensions.

    Hey folks,

I'm sorry for the trouble here. The message means that you need to open up the main 1Password application from your Applications folder in Finder and unlock it by entering your master password. Please also be sure you are using at least 1Password version 3.7.2.

I hope that helps. Please let me know.

    Thanks!
